My anxious heart compared life to a wave.
So I chose the largest one I could see.
Its grand whitecap stretched wide as it rolled along the shore.
I saw a young couple coming westward in white.
The sun to their back.
Their path met a man walking a dog on his right.
Then a group of seagulls flew along the shore.
Over the horizon, a cloud bank wisped choral against a blue sky.
This and the new waves rising, seemed like enough.
